Each accepted paper has to be accompanied by one registration fee.
Instructions to authors
The deadline for author's registration is August 1, 2008. Authors of accepted papers must register and pay the registration fee in order to have their papers published in the Proceedings.
The registration is not considered final until the registration using CMS2 conference system (received by August 1) and the payment of the registration fee (paid by August 1) are both received, followed by a copy of the payment or equivalent, faxed (+385 1 464 82 62) or sent as e-mail attachment on:
billing@rmo2008.org.

Registrations and papers are accepted over Internet using the Conference Management System 2 application.
Link for registration is on the right side menu (Registration - CMS2).
After the successfull registration you will be sent Person ID# over the email.
The final papers are to be sent by September 15, 2008 only using CMS2 conference system.
Final papers sent by E-mail as attachments, by fax or surface mail will NOT be accepted!
Electronic versions of the paper (for oral or poster presentation) should be sent both in Adobe Acrobat (*.pdf) and in Microsoft Word (*.doc) format. |
The International Programme Committee cannot acknowledge the receipt of final papers without the receipt of the Symposium registration form and the registration fee paid.
Instructions for Preparation of Papers and Posters
Each final paper is limited to six pages (four pages are usually suitable and therefore recommended), and up to a file size of 4 MiB. Please study the instructions carefully before preparing the final paper.
The easiest way is to download the guidelines as a Microsoft Word document and use it as a template for your manuscript because it contains all necessary formats and styles. Please note that the each accepted paper has to be accompanied by one registration fee.

Presentations
All accepted final paper will be published in the Symposium Proceedings. Authors may present their final paper as oral or poster presentations.

When reviewing the final paper, the International Programme Committee shall not discriminate between oral and poster presentations styles, in terms of their scientific level. The selection between oral and poster presentation will depend on the author's own statement, as well as its being potentially interesting for either a wider audience or a smaller one.
Notification of Acceptance
The International Programme Committee will review the final paper, and Notification of acceptance will be sent by E-mail by October 1, 2008. Please note that, during selection process, the International Programme Committee, may make suggestions as to presentation styles as well as to finalizing the entire programme.
The authors of selected papers, presented during 1st RMO 2008 and 20th Metrology Symposium, will be encoureged to submit updated and extended versions of those papers to the journal Measurement (Elsevier, IMEKO – http://ees.elsevier.com/meas/) and Accreditation and Quality Assurance ("ACQUAL") SPRINGER Verlag; http://SpringerLink.com - http://acqual.edmgr.com.
Language
All documents, letters, communications, presentations and contributions of any kind are to be written in English. No interpretation facilities will be provided. The SI units must be used.
